Ana Iks

Ana Iks (aka. Joanna Sokołowska) - visual artist specialized in painting,
graphic, photography and video-art. She graduated in 2022 as the Master of
Fine Arts in The Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts at the Institute of Painting
and Drawing. She created the main part of her diploma in the Studio of
Painting and Interdisciplinary Arts (advisor prof. dr hab. Piotr Stachlewski) and
the second part in the Studio of Photography Arts (advisor dr hab. Dominika
Sadowska). She took part in various exhibitions in Łódź organized by the
following venues: Off Piotrkowska Gallery,"Konkret" in MS1 Gallery, ASP
Gallery (located at Piotrkowska 68) and "Czeska Sauna Gallery".Artist frequently shows her work during local events. Her paintings were exhibited during the "Labirynt" festival in 2022. In addition, she presents hervideo-art during events organized by the "Symbioza" collective. Currently her
works could be seen at the Piotrkowska 113 Gallery. Over the years she has
been exploring different forms of visual expression in order to create the
surrealistic experience.
