Anna Panek - painter and architect, graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Wrocław University of Technology and the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, finalist of the Samsung Art Master competition. He creates paintings, murals and installations related to architecture. In her artistic activities, both areas of art are juxtaposed and sometimes opposed to each other. For Anna Panek, architecture is a frame, a disciplined, culturally defined form, while painting is primal and wild, belongs to the order of nature. It is free to spread, annex, obliterate, or transform physical structures. The artist says “I'm interested in the excess existing in nature, its vitality, and fear it evokes in its original state. And the painting process itself is like exercising instinct, referring to it as a basic reaction to the world, an internal set common to all people. "
