"The world of my painting is a world perceived extrasensorily. It is a world full of reflections, sighs, sincere conversations and deep feelings. All this takes place in a fairy-tale setting, full of colours, unreal landscapes and magical towns. Sometimes it is a struggle with one's weaknesses, limitations or the passing of time, symbolised by the errant knight Don Quixote – a subject I return to with joy.
Very often the subject of my paintings is a woman – a symbol of gentleness, delicacy and beauty. She is an object of adoration, often presented in my paintings in a dignified and sensual way.
When I paint, I create my own reality, in which there is no violence, evil or anger. There is peace and joy. In my world, literally anything can happen”.
