Ewelina Straszewicz

Ewelina Straszewicz has been drawing and painting since childhood. The first exhibitions were organized in Olkusz, then in Warsaw and Raszyn. Currently, the artist is a postgraduate student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź in the field of Drawing and Painting.

The area of ??her artistic interests is the world of a child, which is not as beautiful and colorful as one usually thinks about it - childhood is full of shadows and anxiety, as well as uncertainty lined with fear and loneliness. Often there are experiences that stay with us for years. This childhood shapes our perception of the world and is the glass through which we look at people and our reality.

She is inspired by the masters of the Renaissance, great Flemish painters and surrealists, abstract painting and pop-art. Contemporary art fascinates her in all its glory.
