Jacek Maślankiewicz was born in 1955. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he studied, among others in the studio of professor Rajmund Ziemski.
The artist has received numerous awards for his works, and in 2013 he was awarded the Honorary Badge of Merit for Polish Culture by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage He took part in 46 individual exhibitions and in 229 group shows in art galleries and museums around the world.
