Jan Siedlecki

Jan Siedlecki was born in 1948. Education - PLTP im. A, Kenara in Zakopane - Matura specialization, artistic carpentry 
Studies at the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Industrial Design
Diploma with honors from the chair of Professor Zbigniew Chudzikiewicz in 1973.
Employed as a specialist designer at Krosno Glassworks Krosno SA, 
Over the course of 35 years of work, he has completed many of his own utility glass projects 
and individually implemented unique glass projects
It has approximately twenty proprietary designs and innovative solutions in glass.
Participation in many exhibitions of glass, drawing and graphics in individual and collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Many of my projects have been awarded in Poland and abroad. 

In 2008, I finished working at KHS S.A. and retired.
To this day, I continue to individually create my own new glass designs 
unique, using various decorative techniques and new technologies in glass.
MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS:
1973 - Diploma with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow for the diploma certificate. 
1974- Award of the Minister of Industry for the diploma thesis
1977- Purchase of three pieces of glass / a vase, a glass and a wine glass from the Corning collection  
           Museum of Glass
1978 - Contemporary Glass competition "Microfiche program" organized by 
           Corning Museum of Glass - a selection of 1 of my works "777Champagne souser" catalog number 100, 120 works from all over the world were selected in the program.  
1978- Participation in the 1st Industrial Biennale of Applied Glass in Krosno.
1987 - 2nd prize in the MTP Poznań Design of the Year competition
1988- 1st prize for the design of the "Reflex" table glass set, IWP Warszawa.
1989- Honorable mention at the CEVIDER designers competition Valencia Spain-
           "CLEANING" work.
1991 - Llama Joven main prize Ex Aequo CEVIDER designers competition 
          Valencia Spain set of glasses "PROLOG 1,2.3, 4.5"

1993- Llama Joven main prize Ex Aequo CEVIDER designers competition 
          Valencia Spain kit "MOTTO B"
1997- Certificate of obtaining the mark "GOOD PATTERN 96 IWP 53/96 IWP - program 
          promotional "GOOD PATTERN"
1999 - MALWA 99 distinction, certificate for MONO table glass 
1999- Gold medalDOMEXPO99 MTP Poznań MINI MONO set
1999- Promotional Emblem of the President of the Republic of Poland "TERAZ POLSKA" for the MONO glass set.
2000- National Museum " POLISH PRODUCTS 1899- 1999- catalog - 120 selected
