Jerzy Kałucki
Jerzy Kałucki (born July 9, 1931, in Lviv; died May 3, 2022, in Kraków) – painter, set designer.
From 1951 to 1957, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, where he graduated under the guidance of Andrzej Stopka in the Department of Set Design. Between 1957 and 1981, he worked as a set designer for television and theater. From 1981 to 2003, he ran a painting studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. In 2005, he was awarded the Jan Cybis Prize.
His works are part of the collections of the National Museum in Kraków and the Museum of Contemporary Art MOCAK in Kraków.
