Jerzy Wardak
Jerzy Wardak studied (1958-1961) at the Teacher Training College in Gdańsk, in 1961-66 he studied at the Department of Monument Conservation at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. In 1961 he was a co-founder of the photo group "ZERO - 61", from 1966 a member of the SPAF. Awards: bronze medal at the National Student Photography Competition, Warsaw University of Technology, 1963; 1st degree award of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, 1966, silver medal at the National Competition 500 - the anniversary of the Toruń Peace; Grand Prix of Golden Jantar, Sopot 1968; silver medal at the Versailles International Fantastic Photography Competition, 1968, AFIAP title, Geneva 1970; Distinguished Cultural Activist award, 1979
