DISPLAYS: - I am fascinated by the Orient and its philosophy, the beauty and depth of the human being, on many levels. I am interested in symbolism, ancient history and psychology.
- Each painting is composed and thought out to the smallest detail. Every detail has meaning and was used on purpose, also the place where it was placed is carefully considered, analyzed. The artwork is thus a story, a puzzle, a rebus, a narrative that I solve myself, analyze, seeing the painting first in vision, like a flash of light. I wonder what it says to me and why, why it appeared, I recall the image many times in my mind before I start working.
"The purpose of painting a picture is not to create a picture-though that may sound unintelligent [...] The purpose, which stands in the background of any true work of art, is to achieve a state of being, a high functioning, more than a simple state of being. The painting is merely a by-product of this state, a trace left behind, a footprint." - Robert Henri, The Art Spirit
- I graduated from the School of Art in Nysa and at the same time from the Carolinum there.
I studied art history with the excellent Ms. Irena Filipowicz, MA; sculpture, painting and drawing at the School of Art. - In 2010, MOUSETOUCH Visual Arts Magazine published an article on my works.
- In 2012, one of my paintings was exhibited in Milan.
- I perfected my technique by studying the works of the masters and learning all possible techniques in practice. From the Impressionists, through Art Nouveau and Cubism to Realism. In oil painting, I can, say I am self-taught, having perfected my technique over the years.
