Marcin Sudziński
Photographer, beekeeper, cultural animator, culture expert. In 2009-2015, he worked at the Brama Grodzka-Teatr NN center in Lublin, where he ran a photography studio. In 2015, he cleaned nearly three thousand glass negatives from the Faces of a non-existent city collection in the deposit of Brama Grodzka. In 2013 and 2015, he collaborated on the film productions of The Faces of the Non-Existent City and The Photographer's Occupation directed by Natasza Ziółkowska-Kurczuk, playing the role of a photographer and narrator. He lectured in photography (UMCS and KUL in Lublin). He teaches at the Lublin School of Photography, runs open-air workshops and photography workshops. Since 2016, he has been working at the Cultural Center in Lublin, creating a studio of classical photography there. He breeds bees. He runs the Municipal Artistic Apiary on the roofs of the Center for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin. He organized an educational trail in the village of Nowy Gaj near Nałęczów, showing the free life of bees in various forms of hives (honey logs, straw, snow, frame hives). The path is part of a nature project called the Golden Branch, which he is currently working on.
