Marlena Lachowska
Marlena Lachowska was born in 1988 in Stalowa Wola. She is an art instructor at the Culture Center. She runs art workshops for children and adults, and oversees the photographic documentation and visual side of organized events.
She also paints in oils and acrylics. Many of her works are in private collections in Poland and abroad. A large episode in her artistic activity was played by the motif of an old village presented on old, natural boards, illustrating the longing for the carefreeness and simplicity of life in years gone by.
She likes to experiment with various painting techniques, pencil, metal, watercolors, plaster, obtaining a variety of textures and colors.
She is currently working on the "machine-human" series, showing fantastic, unreal relationships between completely abstract figures and people. However, she raises a question mark here - is this really an impossible situation in the future? Isn't this a substitute for what awaits us in the era of artificial intelligence and advancing robotics?
We will inform you about new artworks availability in the gallery or at the auction.
