Marta Konieczny

She was born in 1969 in Częstochowa. She graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts (PLSP) in Częstochowa. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts (ASP) in Warsaw at the Faculty of Graphic Arts, specializing in book illustration. She earned her diploma in 1994 in the studio of Professor Janusz Stanny. She is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (ZPAP). She works in painting, illustration, graphic design, and ceramics. Her artist's books are part of the collection of the National Library in Warsaw.

Marta Konieczny is an artist fascinated by organic forms observed in the natural world. Her works are a natural consequence of her daily contact with plants. The opportunity to observe an infinite variety of constructions, structures, textures, and patterns found in Polish flora inspires her to create. Her works are a tribute to nature's creativity.
