Michał Wasiak

Michał Witold Wasiak – born in 1997 in Łódź. In the years 2016-2021 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź at the Faculty of Graphics and Painting. He obtained a diploma with distinction in the studio painting studio of dr hab. Tomasz Musiał in 2021. He creates in the field of painting and graphics. In his works, he mainly depicts deformations, distortions of form, unusual combinations of various elements shown in various portrait representations. Participant of numerous graphic and painting exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Winner of the 2020 scholarship of the Minister of Culture. Winner of the Marshal of the City of Łódź Award in the 37th Władysław Strzemiński Competition – Fine Arts 2020. Winner of the Award of the Museum of the City of Łódź, the Amcor Gallery Award and the House of Literature Award. Honored with the award of the Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk Prof. Krzysztof Polkowski in the national XII Biennale of Student Graphics "Anticiała" in Poznań. Honored for his diploma in the national Interdisciplinary Festival of Arts M{i}aSTO/a Gwiazd in Żyrardów. Awarded with Honorary Distinction in the national Eibischa painting competition 2021.
