The author about her surrealist paintings:
"Ideas for paintings come at different times of the day, sometimes I'm inspired by a face seen on a bus, sometimes a situation, many ideas also come at night when I can't sleep or when I'm dreaming, while painting they are usually still being processed.
In paintings I often try to show beauty where according to learned standards there is no beauty. When I create I enter a trance, for me it is a form of meditation, complete cut-off from the outside world.
Painting helps me consciously or often less consciously express myself, sometimes when painting a painting I focus only on its visual side thinking that this time it is a painting without any content, after finishing or already during painting it turns out that it is not entirely so... as if something inside wanted to communicate with me."
