Wacław Cisłowski
Wacław Cisłowski was born in 1924 in Miechów, and died in 1997 in Kielce. He graduated from the University of Economics in Krakow. He was among the co-founders of the Kielce Branch of the Polish Photographic Society (1955), and then became a member of the Świętokrzyskie Photographic Society in Kielce (1961-1982). He was a member of the artistic "Group 10x10" (1976-1978) at the Kielce Delegation of ZPAF, a founding member of the Świętokrzyskie District of ZPAF (1978).
He is a classic representative of the Kielce School of Landscape, laureate of collective artistic awards granted "for creating artistic documentation of the Polish agricultural landscape". He was honored with the title of Artiste FIAP (AFIAP) by the International Federation of Photographic Art FIAP.
The main theme of the artist's creative interests was landscape, portrait and nature photography, including the favorite Fir Forest, often presented in the form of interesting macro photographs.
