Pleasure: The Painting Exhibition of Paulina Rychter
Paulina Rychter introduces viewers to clean, harmonious, and tranquil summer compositions. Scenes of everyday leisure, bodies bathed in the full sun of the hottest months of the year, are interspersed with the melancholy of cool evenings and the longing for slowly fading long, bright days. The artist's compositions seem to be afterimages of spiritually close scenes from the socialist realist period. At the same time, a flat, synthetic patch of intense color enhances the expression and clarity of the creation "Pleasure," as the artist elevates her work to a pedestal, characterized by freedom, tranquility, balance, and relaxation.
