"The Sparrow Sees More" is a painting that draws the viewer into an extraordinary symbolic journey between realities. In the foreground we see hands delicately holding a rose, full of life and beauty. . rose here becomes a symbol of fragile beauty, perhaps of feelings or dreams that need protection.
The background of the painting is a solid surface which changes and shiny fragments of leaves appear, hiding a surprise - two holes cut out in the shape of a rose. Through these holes one can see a bright blue sky with soft white clouds. This sky seems to be an invitation to another world, more ethereal and transcendental. In one of the holes sits a sparrow, a tiny observer who looks towards the hand and the rose. In its posture, one senses something more than simple curiosity - it looks as if it is peering into another reality, exploring the boundaries between the material and the spiritual.
The image seems to speak of the interpenetration of different dimensions of life. The hands hold a rose - a symbol of earthly beauty - but the sparrow, looking through a hole in the background, sees something more, something beyond the boundaries of the visible. Is it the past? Or the future? Or perhaps a metaphor for the human imagination and the ability to look beyond the tangible?
"The Sparrow Sees More" raises questions about our view of the world - do we only see what is in front of us, or are we able to see the hidden depths? Here, the sparrow is a guide, a symbol of attentiveness and curiosity, encouraging us to look at reality in a new way, full of reflection and openness
