The painting was painted in acrylic technique on cotton canvas, properly primed/smoothed, unframed, sides painted black, signed/described on the back, secured with Winsor-Newton varnish, has a sling. It belongs to the series ''Not so distant..''. The colors of the painting are calm: light beige, soft greens and blues dominate. The subject of the painting is a lonely island suspended somewhere far away, on the border between dream and reality. The atmosphere is calm and soothing to the viewer. At least that was the artist's intention ;)
