Joker HL, 2023

JOKER HL - "Forget what hurt you in the past, but never forget what it taught you"- oil painting on canvas, mixed technique, face made of filling compound to emphasise the mask on the face. The mask is a symbol. People hide their problems, moods and illnesses under the mask of a 'good mood', while in reality they are often struggling with difficult issues. The figure of this character inspired me to paint a series of paintings, with which I want to draw attention to the mental problems humanity is currently facing. Signature on front in lower right corner, on the backside of the painting: title, year, and author's signature.
