Monika Kargol

Monika Kargol is a painter living in Wrocław. She is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, majoring in painting in Prof. Krzysztof Walaszek's studio.
For her, art is an inspiration in everyday life, and painting allows her to express herself, overcome her own weaknesses, and show the world from a different perspective. The subject of her works are not only the problems of the modern world, but also nature. She does not close herself to one theme, style or technique. She likes changes and this can be seen in her works. Sometimes these paintings are very narrow in colour, calm, nostalgic, reflective. At other times they are full of expression, colours and various sounds. She likes to change techniques, searches and experiments all the time. In this she is steadfast and patient. She expresses this in her paintings. It was only in her adult life that she decided to pursue the passion she has carried in her heart since childhood. The first step was the College of Computer Graphics in Wrocław between 2000 and 2002, after which she honed her craft in Houses of Culture and at various courses.  In 2016, she decided to start studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. Many of her works are in private collections at home and abroad.
