Elephants are extremely strong and possess power, not only the physical one, but also the mental and spiritual one. This is why they are a frequent inspiration for my paintings. This painting is done with acrylic paints and pastels in muted colours: greys, browns, beiges and lots of gold. In addition, the additional 3D effect on the ears, trunk and legs boosts the effectiveness of the work. The sides are painted, there is no need for framing, but a beautiful frame always adds to the appeal of the work.
