In the painting we see majestic cliffs carved by time and wind, falling straight into the calm, blue sea. The stones have warm beige and red tones, contrasting with the rich blue of the water. Somewhere far away on the horizon, two seagulls soar carelessly in the bright sky. It's a view like from a fairy tale, idyllic, the sky touched by white clouds. The atmosphere exudes peace and reflection, as if time had stopped for a moment.
The painting technique is quite expressive, palette knife was used, which adds austerity to the landscape. The artist used impasto, thanks to which the image becomes three-dimensional. You can almost feel the cool wind blowing off the water. It's a place where you would like to sit with a book or just think.
