DISPLAYS: Tadeusz Baranowski was born in 1945 in Zamość. He studied at the Faculty of Graphics and Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the studio of prof. A. Nacht-Samborski and prof. A. Kobzdej. In 1969 he graduated with distinction. His work is characterized by the use of various materials, which make his works spatial and balance between painting and bas-relief. During his career, the artist also dealt with applied graphics and works for children, for which in 2007 he received the Gloria Artis medal from the Minister of Culture, Art and National Heritage. His paintings belong to many private and museum collections.
