"I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where I specialized in graphics. Since then I have been working as a free artist, and painting and drawing are techniques that dominate my work. I create figurative compositions and landscapes. Through symbolic representations I try to pose existential questions, I focus on the reality that surrounds me, ie the reality of "modern man" living in the era of multidimensional change. The second dominant theme of my artistic work is landscapes. I interpret the emotions evoked by the nature around me. My compositions sometimes retain the perceived orders and divisions, often but the painting leads me to more abstract solutions. When creating landscapes, the need to simplify and summarize dominates, but at the same time I work with different textures to create a vivid image. Portraits have a special place. Through my face I try to express the truth about a man, whatever that may mean. I draw it I create graphics on which I present family members, friends, but also strangers. I am often inspired by photographs. Painting takes up the most space in my work. However, the graphics remind you of itself. I put my brushes down and go to the graphic studio. Since 2018, I have my own graphic studio. This is what makes my graphic work grow. In graphics, as in painting - I am looking for a suitable form. Everything is clearer in black and white graphics. The technique forces you to make specific decisions. I like to work in traditional techniques, especially the linocut technique. But I also look for unusual traces, I create matrices from various materials. What interests me the most is searching. Although the graphics are reproducible, this is not the most important thing for me. I print small editions. Graphic printing on good paper has an element of nobility and unique beauty. I believe you will always need a handmade graphic printout. I believe that computer techniques that are already widely used by graphic designers will not overwhelm traditional techniques. "
