This picturesque 89th New Art Auction promises to be an event full of excitement, set in the neoclassical Sierakowski Manor in Sopot (12 Czyżewskiego Street). The beginning of the catalog will welcome us with fabulous, magical, and fantastic works. Vivid compositions beautifully foreshadow the subsequent pieces in the auction. Wojciech Brewka’s colorful lion fully embodies the titular focus. The cheerful mood of Robert Jadczak’s expressionist couple will undoubtedly lift your spirits instantly. Andrejus Kovelinas will invite us into the theatrical ambiance of a summer evening, while Igor Volosnikov will transport us to a somewhat heavenly yet rather dark reality.

It is undeniable that the greatest inspiration for artists remains the timeless beauty of women, which will manifest in various forms at our auction. Paulina Wilk will present a serene “Portrait of a Sleeping Woman” in muted beige tones. Futuristic representations of women will be seen in the intriguing works of Piotr Piecko and Paweł Grabowski. We will smile at Borys Fiodorowicz’s humorously religious portrait of the Virgin Mary and relax with Radosław Kuźmiński’s watercolor featuring Eliza.

There’s nothing like a journey into the unknown, where the road seems endless and the warm wind blows through your hair. Our Sopot auction will feature many paintings with such themes, further infusing the walls of the Sierakowski Manor with a summer atmosphere. One such work is “Bon Voyage. Cadillac 1930” by Anna Konikowska, capturing the essence of carefree relaxation in an exceptionally attractive Art Deco style. Urban exploration enthusiasts are invited to New York, especially to admire Piotr Zawadzki’s extraordinary painting, which perfectly captures the city’s sultry ambiance. American culture also inspired Magdalena Karwowska to create a diptych featuring vintage vehicles. A classic racing car can also be seen in Krzysztof Tanajewski’s work, where the car’s blue color stands out against the rusty hue of the rock background. We will embark on a slightly surreal journey with several artists, including Piotr Nogaj, Piotr Banaszkiewicz, and Siergiej Malysz.

In Sopot, marine-themed paintings are a must. Our artists have excelled, as each work presents the sea in entirely different colors, dynamics, and moods. Tomasz Kostecki depicts a voyage on turbulent waves in a monochromatic Art Deco style.
